O Dia Mundial da Árvore ou Dia Mundial da Floresta festeja-se em 21 de Março. A comemoração oficial do Dia da Árvore teve lugar pela primeira vez no estado norte-americano do Nebraska, em 1872.
Nos EUA, é comemorado no dia 23 de Setembro, junto do aniversário de Julius Sterling Morton, morador da Nebrasca, que incentivou a plantação de árvores naquele estado.
Arbor Day is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. Arbor Day originated in Nebraska City, Nebraska, United States and is celebrated in a number of countries.
Arbor Day reached its height of popularity on its 125th anniversary in 1997, when Col. David J. Wright, noticed that a Nebraska non profit called the National Arbor Day Foundation had taken the name of the holiday and commercialized it for their own use as a trademark for their publication "Arbor Day," so he countered their efforts, launched a website, and trademarked it for "public use celebrations" and defended the matter in a federal district court in the United States to insure it was judged as property of the public domain, the case was settled in October of 1999. Today as a result of Wright's efforts anyone can use the term Arbor Day and anyone can hold their own Arbor Day celebration.
Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, (born September 14, 1973), who performs under the mononym Nas, formerly Nasty Nas, is an American rapper and actor. The son of jazz musician Olu Dara, he was born and raised in the Queensbridge housing projects in New York City. Although he dropped out of middle school, he managed to attain a high degree of literacy that are prominent in his lyrics. His debut album Illmatic, was released in 1994 on Columbia Records. Illmatic was critically acclaimed and would go on to be widely hailed a classic. Nas was part of hip-hop supergroup The Firm, which released one album.
From 2001 to 2005, Nas was involved in a widely publicized feud with rapper Jay-Z; both rappers verbally attacked each other in their songs. The two formally ended their rivalry through duet performances at concerts sponsored by New York City-area hip-hop radio stations. In 2006, he was listed number five on MTV's 10 Greatest Emcees of all time. Also in 2006, he signed to Def Jam, releasing his albums Hip Hop is Dead in 2006 and an untitled album in 2008.
His work has influenced, and been admired by many, including Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Ludacris, Lupe Fiasco, Big L, 50 Cent, The Game, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T.I., and Jermaine Dupri. His lyricism has also earned him the respect from rap pioneers such as KRS-One, Rakim, Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane.

Kanye Omari West (born June 8, 1977) is an American rapper, record producer, author and singer. He released his debut album The College Dropout in 2004, his second album Late Registration in 2005, his third album Graduation in 2007, and his fourth album 808s & Heartbreak in 2008. His first three albums have received numerous awards, and critical acclaim, All have been highly commercially successful, with 808s & Heartbreak making his third consecutive album in the U.S.. West also runs his own record label GOOD Music. West's mascot and trademark is "Dropout Bear," a teddy bear which has appeared on the covers of three of his four albums as well as various single covers and music videos.
West gained fame by producing for Roc-A-Fella Records, where he eventually achieved recognition for his work on Jay-Z's classic album, The Blueprint as well as hit singles for musical artists including Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Janet Jackson. His style of production originally utilized pitched-up vocal samples from soul songs incorporated with his own drums and instruments. However, subsequent albums saw him broadening his musical palette and expressing influences ranging from '70s R&B, to synth-pop, and classical music.
About.com ranked Kanye West #8 on their "Top 50 Hip-Hop Producers" list. On May 16, 2008, Kanye West was crowned by MTV as the year's "Hottest MC in the Game."

Por ter sido sempre um grande professor, um grande conselheiro, um confidente, mas acima de tudo um grande amigo.
Aos 15 e 16 anos tudo é muito importante, e é incrível como toda a gente se junta para nos impedir de alcançar certas coisas que para nós teem tanta importancia. Consigo, nós aprendemos que nem tudo é assim tao importante, que as coisas mais essenciais não são aquelas que nos metem mais bonitos, ou com um numero de pretendentes maior.
Voçe Conseguiu-nos ensinar a nunca duvidar da capacidade de ultrapassar as barreiras colocadas no nosso percurso de vida;
Não é fácil esquecer, aliás, cada vez é mais difícil, principalmente esquecer as pessoas que nos ajudaram a melhorar o nosso percurso de vida. Há ainda um sentimento chamado "saudade" , e em toda a nossa vida, este sentimento irá existir. Pode ser bom, cada um faz dele o que quer. Vai sempre existir a saudade de certas pessoas, de certas palavras, de certos momentos. Ninguém consegue impedi-la, é algo mais forte que nós, mais forte que tudo.
O nosso objectivo é atingir a meta com todas as barreiras intactas, sem que nenhum vencido possa derrubá-las.
